What was broken

Studio and Agent X can produce a site in minutes, which made the next step the bottleneck: buying a domain somewhere, pointing nameservers, installing WordPress, adding Cloudflare, waiting for SSL. For an operator with dozens of sites, that is a day of clicking per batch. Hosting had to disappear into the publish button.

The build

When you publish, the Cloud App runs four steps in order: creates a hosting account for the site, connects the domain and checks DNS until it resolves, deploys every page, and issues SSL automatically. Domains: bring your own or search, see prices and buy inside the App. DNS: add, edit and remove A, CNAME, TXT and MX records per domain, with nameserver checks that show whether the zone points to Cloudflare and resolves. Cloudflare: settings, cache purge, edge caching for static files and always-HTTPS from the dashboard. Hosting accounts come with WordPress and Cloudflare preinstalled and launch in under 60 seconds with no credit card. Dedicated servers can be ordered from the same screen for bigger projects, and any Studio site can be exported as a static zip for any other host. Hosting costs 3 Xags per site per month, from the same balance as everything else.

What changed

Cloud hosting shipped in March 2026 and became the default publish target for Studio in October 2026. In November 2026 the live counters show 1,152 sites hosted and measured, with publishing taking under a minute from build to HTTPS.
