What was broken
A manufacturer of conveyor belts and industrial components had an outdated, slow site and 150+ products, each with colour and material variants, to show to Serbian and international buyers. They also needed to manage it themselves.
The build
A site and admin built from scratch on CodeIgniter: a product manager for categories, products and variants, product pages with a dynamic RAL colour selector and live preview, technical specs, downloadable PDF catalogues and quote request forms. Full Serbian/English switching. Hundreds of high-res photos batch-converted to WebP with lazy loading and responsive srcsets.

What changed
Delivered in two and a half months. The flexible schema handles complex variant relationships while the admin stays simple enough for the office to run daily. The full catalogue loads under three seconds, including on mobile for international buyers.
