SEO · Local, technical side

Local SEO for WordPress. The technical side, done in code.

Local schema, location pages with a proper structure, a fast mobile site and correct links between your site and your Google Business Profile. I handle the parts of local SEO that live on your website. Citations, reviews and link building are not part of this job.

01 · Sounds familiar?

Problems I fix.

If two of these are you, I can probably have it sorted this week.

  • Several locations sharing one weak page, or city pages that are near copies of each other
  • No LocalBusiness schema, or schema with a different address than the site footer
  • A slow site on phones, where most local searches happen
  • Your Google Business Profile links to the homepage instead of the right location page
  • Name, address and phone written three different ways across your own site
02 · What you get

Everything included. Nothing padded.

Location pages with structure

One page per location or service area with its own content, address, hours and map, linked properly from the rest of the site.

Local schema

LocalBusiness and Service markup per location, matching what is on the page and on your Business Profile.

Consistent details on the site

Name, address and phone the same in the header, footer, contact page and schema.

Business Profile linking

Each Google Business Profile points to the right location page, tagged so you can see that traffic in analytics.

Fast on mobile

Core Web Vitals in the green on the pages people open from Maps and the local results.

Lead tracking

GA4 events for calls, forms and direction clicks, so you know which pages bring enquiries.

Typical result
One page per location typical multi-location business after the setup

A typical case: three branches listed on one contact page, no schema, and every Business Profile linking to the homepage. After the setup, each branch has its own page with address, hours, map and services, LocalBusiness schema on each, and each Business Profile points to its own page. Rankings still depend on reviews, distance and competition, which this work doesn't control, but the site stops being the weak link.

This is for you if

  • A local or multi-location business with a WordPress site
  • You (or your SEO person) handle the Business Profile and reviews, and want the website side done right
  • A service-area business that needs clean location pages

Not a fit if

  • You need citation building, review campaigns or link building (I don't do those)
  • You want someone to run your Google Business Profile posts
  • A national or global brand without local intent
04 · Questions

Things people ask before they book.

Will this get me into the local pack?

It removes the website-side reasons you're not there. Google's local ranking also weighs relevance, distance and prominence (reviews, links, mentions), and most of that is outside this job.

Do you do citations, reviews or link building?

No. That is off-site work, and I stick to what lives on your website. If you have an SEO person or agency for that side, I implement the technical part for them.

Do you manage the Google Business Profile?

No, but I check that it matches the website (name, address, phone, hours, categories that fit your service pages) and that it links to the right page.

Multi-location businesses?

Yes. Location page templates that still carry unique content, schema per location, and a simple way to add the next branch.

Do you track calls and leads?

Yes. GA4 events for phone clicks, form submissions and direction clicks.

How much does it cost?

The setup for one location starts at €490. Multi-location sites get a fixed quote based on the number of locations.

What access do you need?

WordPress admin, Search Console and Analytics. Read access to your Business Profile helps for the consistency check. Under NDA, removed afterwards.
